Entrepreneurship Journey

When I started my own thing, I positioned myself as a subject-matter expert service provider on website speed and scalability. But, I always had a bunch of questions I needed to ask people to learn things. As an 'expert', I was worried that asking questions could leave me 'exposed'. This is a post on how I went about overcoming my anxiety and nurtured my courage to ask questions.

During the first year of my entrepreneurship journey, I frequently noted, in my personal diary, the differences I was experiencing being self-employed as compared to being a salaried guy. I had taken the plunge after being an employee for a decade. I observed that an entrepreneur without a salaried past would take some of these things for granted. But, being fresh off the salaried boat, I was clearly feeling the pinch of these stark differences.

Last month, I completed four years since I quit my job to work for myself. So, it's a nice time to reflect upon my experiences so far and get a perspective on where exactly I am.
